Director of Health Services - Clinical Nurse Practitioner

We are a leading national healthcare organization. Due to expansion we are looking for a Director of Health Services. In this role you will be responsible for patient case management through quality improvement, case management, credentialing and utilization management.

What you'll be doing!
- Supervise of the Health Services staff
- Oversee referral authorization activities and referral authorization staff
- Supervise all activities related to the authorization of eligible services
- Oversee Authorization Review Committee meetings
- Support the notification process for providers and members to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Supervise the management of in-patient activities/processes
- Manage all activities related to the Quality Improvement process
- Clinical quality monitoring and improvement activities related to preventive health services and chronic illness pertinent to the long-term care population
- Support activities related to the Appeals and Grievances processes to ensure compliance with state, federal and company standards and regulations

What you need for this position!
- 5+ years experience in an HMO/IPA/Managed Care setting.
- 5 years hands on clinical experience.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license.
- Knowledge of long-term care, community resources and cost-effective alternatives regarding patient care delivery systems.
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9 and HCPC codes.
