Kforce is seeking a Coding Manager of HIM Medical Records in the Health Information Management Division. This position is located in Southern Maine. Can you imagine white water rafting on the Androscoggin River? The lure of Irish and French Canadian heritages is inextricably entwined in the Lewiston Auburn region in Southern Maine. Our client nestled in what used to be the largest industrial city in the state is between Auburn and Augusta. The selected candidate will manage and supervise 45 credentialed FTEs. You will be instrumental in the organizational restructuring to bring all Physician Coders into the HIM Department. Troubleshooting and resolution are key elements to propelling the Department forward. Clinical Documentation Improvement Program experience will preferably be utilized to help streamline the Inpatient Coding procedure. The selected candidate will possess 3 or more years of acute care hospital coding experience including inpatient, outpatient, physician, and E/M coding. Strong leadership experience and excellent communication skills are what will allow you to succeed!

Specific Qualifications:

• RHIA or RHIT and CCS
• Minimum 3 years of strong acute care hospital coding experience
• Minimum 5 years of management experience
