CNC MACHINE TOOL FIELD SERVICE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Attractive hourly base salary ($31 to $32 per hour), full medical/dental benefits, company vehicle plus extensive time and a half overtime pay. Expected annual income will be in the 6 figure range.

Continued customer growth in the Pontiac , Michigan area creates an opportunity for a career minded CNC Machine Tool service professional. In this position, we require an individual that brings a strong customer service orientation and has acquired solid technical experience in the Machine Tool service field. These skills should include good electrical/electronic skills (CNC controls, servo motors and drives) coupled with proven mechanical ability in performing troubleshooting and repair activities (mechanical analysis and repair of components such as ball screws, spindles, tool changers, pallet shuttles and rotary tables) on a wide range of CNC machine tools. The work will also involve geometrical optimizations on milling machines, lathes, boring mills and grinders. The ability to precision level machines is required as well as proficiency in the operation of the Renishaw interferometer Laser and ball bar calibration equipment.

This work will involve working at Customers plants and requires individuals who are clear communicators, friendly by nature and able to professionally represent one of the most successful organizations in the industry. While much of the work will be at Customer plants in the immediate area, there will be situations where travel out of the area will be required. In these situations, all expenses are covered. Following a period of job orientation, you will be assigned a company vehicle and of course, a good driving record is a necessary requirement.
