Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a software developer that is skilled in building and tuning systems with stringent performance characteristics. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in networks & network security.

Some of what you will do:

- work in a team to design, develop and test scalable network security products
- work closely with architects to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development
- you will be writing code daily

What you need to have:

- proficiency in developing in C or Python
- 5+ years of development experience
- experience developing in a large source code base
- experience with network programming on Linux/Unix
- proven history of building high performance systems
- ability to develop solutions when the problem is not well defined
- driving sense of craftsmanship, quality and ownership
- ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- willingness to step up and take on additional tasks as assigned
- ability to work in small teams to solve complex problems
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
