Job Description: We have an immediate need for a Data Warehouse Consultant JOB DESCRIPTION Design, implement, and support complex enterprise Datawarehouse system and corresponding data marts. Assist in the creation and implementation of the business rules via stored procedures, middleware, or other technologies. Defines user interfaces and functional specifications. Assist in creating new standards and procedures related to end user and internal interface development. Responsible for verifying accuracy of data, testing methods, and the maintenance and support of the data warehouse. Conduct research into new Datawarehouse applications and determines feasibility. Assist in creating development standards. Troubleshoot and tunes existing Datawarehouse applications. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of Datawarehouse systems analysis/programming activities. Demonstrate expertise in a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. May guide various groups on data warehousing activities. Work under general directions; typically reports to a team lead or supervisor/manager. Requires a bachelors degree in a related area and eight plus years of experience in the field or in a related area. Required Technical Skills include: DB2, UDB, ERwin, Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica PowerExchange, AIX, and Unix Shell scripting.
